Added quite a few more pics. Figure its been a while since I have updated this particular front-end page. In any case, many more photos are present in the astro section, most of which have been taken with my modified, cooled, amp-off modded Canon 300D. Additionally, I have plans to begin work on an amp-off modification for the Canon 350D. I'm pretty confident that it will work similarly, but I will not know until the camera body I purchased arrives and I can begin digging into it. I'll keep info posted on it, likely on the 300D modification page.

Canon 300D (Digital Rebel) Cooled Peltier Mod and Filter Transmission Results - Sunday, May 7, 2006

So I finished my 300D modification today. Just a few small loose ends to tie up and it should be ready for first light. You can check out the results at my modification page. Tonight I am going to try for a cooled 15 minute darkframe to compare it with a non-cooled 15 minute darkframe from a 10D, but currently all I have is a cooled 4 minute and an uncooled 3 minute 40 second from the 10D to compare. So far the results look very promising though.
